Every product we ship exists because someone genuinely needed it and could not find it. We build tools that solve real problems, charge a fair price for premium features, and include free tiers that are genuinely useful. We do not sell your data. We do not use dark patterns. That is a commitment we stand behind.
We do not chase trends or build features for the sake of building features. If a tool does not serve a real person with a real problem, it does not ship.
Most apps are designed to maximize engagement at any cost. siasola exists because we believe there is a better way: build something genuinely useful, respect the people who use it, and earn trust through transparency.
Our story
siasola started with a personal problem. Our founder, Justin Dumas-Carr, has tinnitus. He wanted a sound masking app with precision pitch control and layered mixing, something that would let him explore frequencies and build his own soundscapes. He could not find one that met his standards, so he built it himself.
That first app became siasola Tinnitus Masking Sounds. The approach behind it became the company. Every siasola product follows the same principle: identify a genuine unmet need, build a focused tool that addresses it well, and make it available to others who face the same problem.
From there, the product line grew naturally. Cycling Beats came from years of indoor cycling and frustration with generic workout playlists. Production Management came from firsthand experience with the disorganized tools used on film sets. AI Automation came from seeing small businesses struggle with repetitive workflows that modern AI could handle. Each product has a story rooted in real experience.
Meet the founder
Justin Dumas-Carr is the founder and CEO of siasola. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from Concordia University, with graduate-level coursework in machine learning, computer vision, and data analytics. He also holds a Microsoft Azure Enterprise Data Analyst certification. Before founding siasola, he built production systems across finance and enterprise environments.
Justin trained for 12 years in music composition under a Juilliard-trained instructor at Lasalle Music Academy. That combination of musical training and software engineering informs every audio product siasola builds, from the frequency precision in Tinnitus Masking Sounds to the BPM accuracy in Cycling Beats.
He has tinnitus himself, which is why the first product he built was a sound masking app with controls that no existing app offered. That personal stake carries through every decision: every feature is tested against real needs, not imagined ones.
Justin leads product design, engineering, and AI strategy across all siasola products. His experience at companies like Pictet Group (automated Bloomberg trade reporting, saving 20+ hours per week) and ARIANNE Relocation (30% subscription increase through A/B testing) shapes how siasola approaches automation consulting for clients.
How we build
AI is built into how we design, develop, and deliver products. Our cycling music is generated by AI models trained on tempo, energy, and structure. Our automation consulting uses custom AI agents designed for each client's specific workflows. AI is not a marketing label for us; it is a core part of how every product works.
We prioritize quality over speed. Every app is built for iOS with native performance, accessibility compliance, and privacy by design. We do not collect personal data unless there is a clear reason to do so, and we are transparent about exactly what each app does and does not do.
