Why I built siasola Music
I spent 12 years studying music composition and piano under Jennifer Athena Galatis, a Juilliard-trained composer who pioneered combining orchestral and electronic instruments for film scoring. That training shaped how I think about sound: every piece of audio should serve a specific purpose.
After completing a BSc in Computer Science and graduate-level AI coursework, I saw an opportunity to combine both worlds. AI can generate original, functional audio with precision that manual composition cannot match at scale. BPM-locked cycling tracks across five energy zones, broadband noise layers with specific frequency characteristics: these are engineering problems as much as creative ones.
I believe AI-generated music is best suited for functional contexts where the purpose matters more than the performer. Workout soundtracks, tinnitus sound masking, and focus audio are ideal applications. For creative and artistic expression, I support human musicians. There is no conflict between the two.
siasola Music creates AI-generated audio for the siasola app for good ecosystem. I built siasola Music because functional audio deserves the same precision as the apps it powers.
