Why I built siasola Cycling Beats

siasola Cycling Beats is the cycling music app I built because the right music transforms a ride. I love indoor cycling classes, riding at home on my trainer, and cycling outdoors. When the beat matches the cadence you want, everything clicks. When it does not, you are fighting the rhythm instead of riding with it.

I watched cycling instructors fumble with playlists mid-class instead of focusing on the people in front of them. Connecting songs together to shift cadence smoothly is genuinely difficult. Cutting tracks, crossfading between tempos, finding the right BPM for each interval: it is a mess, and most instructors are not DJs. I knew from my own music background that this was a solvable problem.

I spent 12 years studying music composition under a Juilliard-trained instructor, then earned a BSc in Computer Science and completed graduate-level AI coursework. That combination of music training and computer engineering is what made this cycling music app possible.

siasola Cycling Beats is coming soon to the App Store with AI-generated tracks across 5 energy zones from 60 to 160 BPM, real-time cadence synchronization, crossfade streaming with no gaps between tracks, and full ride history tracking. It works with any stationary bike, home trainer, or road bike. I built this for myself and for every cyclist and instructor who wants good BPM-matched cycling music at a reasonable price.

Frequently asked questions

No cadence sensor is required to use siasola Cycling Beats. You can manually set your target BPM and the app will serve tracks matched to that tempo. However, if you want real-time cadence sync, the app pairs with any standard Bluetooth cadence sensor. When connected, the music automatically adjusts to match your actual pedaling speed as you ride. Both approaches work well depending on your preference. Manual mode is great for structured workouts with planned intensities, while sensor mode gives you a more dynamic experience where the soundtrack follows your natural rhythm throughout the ride.

Spotify cycling playlists are collections of existing songs grouped by genre or mood. siasola Cycling Beats generates original tracks composed specifically for cycling, locked to precise BPM targets across five energy zones. Every track is designed for sustained physical effort with clean transitions and rhythmically precise beats. The app also offers real-time cadence sync, crossfade streaming with no silence gaps, and ride tracking. New tracks are generated daily, so you get a fresh playlist each session instead of hearing the same songs on repeat.

siasola Cycling Beats Premium is $7.99 per month or $49.99 per year (save 48%). Peloton All-Access costs $39.99 per month and requires a Peloton bike. siasola Cycling Beats works with any stationary bike, road bike, or home trainer you already own. There is no proprietary hardware requirement. The free tier includes BPM-matched playlists, 3 energy zones, and basic ride tracking with no expiration. You save over $430 per year compared to a typical cycling app subscription.

siasola Cycling Beats features AI-generated tracks spanning multiple genres including electronic, hip-hop, rock, pop, and ambient styles. Every track is created specifically for cycling sessions with high energy output, clean transitions, and rhythmically precise beats locked to specific BPM targets. Unlike generic playlists, these tracks are purpose-built for sustained physical effort. New tracks are generated and added daily across all genres, so you get a fresh playlist each session. The AI creates music optimized for each energy zone, from low-intensity warmup ambient to high-intensity sprint electronic. All tracks are exclusive to siasola Cycling Beats.

siasola Cycling Beats supports a full BPM range from 60 to 160, covering everything from easy recovery rides to maximum-effort sprints. Five energy zones organize tracks by intensity level so you can quickly find music that matches your current effort. Zone 1 covers 60-80 BPM for warmups and cooldowns, while Zone 5 hits 140-160 BPM for all-out intervals. The zones help you structure workouts without needing a coach or pre-planned class. You can also set a specific BPM target outside the preset zones if you prefer a custom cadence for your training style.

siasola Cycling Beats uses AI to compose original tracks from scratch, directed by a musician and AI engineer with 12 years of music composition training. The AI generates rhythmically precise music locked to specific BPM targets, optimized for sustained physical effort in each energy zone. Every track goes through quality review before being added to the library. We do not sample, remix, or repurpose copyrighted material. This means no licensing complications and fresh, original cycling music added daily.

Yes. siasola Cycling Beats is designed to work for both individual cyclists and cycling instructors leading classes. The five energy zones make it easy to structure a class from warmup through intervals to cooldown, and real-time cadence sync keeps the music matched to the group pace. Because every track is AI-generated and exclusive to siasola, instructors do not need to worry about music licensing issues that come with playing commercial tracks in a class setting. The crossfade streaming ensures smooth transitions between tracks during zone changes.

Pro subscribers can download tracks for offline use directly within the app. This is ideal for outdoor rides where cellular signal is unreliable, gym environments with spotty WiFi, or anywhere you want uninterrupted music during your workout. Downloaded tracks maintain full audio quality and BPM accuracy. You can pre-download tracks for each energy zone before heading out so your entire ride is covered. Offline mode also reduces battery consumption since the app does not need to stream audio. Free tier users require an internet connection for track playback during rides.

siasola Cycling Beats works with any stationary bike, road bike, or indoor cycling setup. It is a music app, not a bike-specific platform, so it pairs with whatever equipment you already have. Use it on a Peloton, Schwinn, Echelon, NordicTrack, or any indoor cycling bike. It also works for outdoor cycling with your phone mounted or in your pocket. The app focuses on delivering BPM-matched music rather than controlling your bike, which means it complements your existing setup rather than replacing it. No proprietary hardware or accessories are required beyond your phone and headphones.

Apple Watch integration is on the roadmap for siasola Cycling Beats. The initial release focuses on the iPhone app with Bluetooth cadence sensor support. Apple Watch compatibility for workout tracking and cadence data is planned for a future update. Sign up to get notified and we will let you know when Apple Watch support is available.
